House Pictures

So we promised some photos of our house a month and a half ago, but we still haven't taken any pictures. We discussed it this past weekend and decided that we want to put some pictures on the wall first (since they are all currently on the floor of our closet) so it looks more like an actual house that people are living in! We'll keep you posted and hopefully post some pictures soon!

Wedding Pictures

It's probably about time to post some of the wedding pictures on the blog since we've been married for almost 4 months (Wow, has it been that long?). Here are some of our favorites (I tried to limit them since we got over 300, all of which are available for viewing here and here). Hope you enjoy looking at them! :) We sure enjoyed that special day and love the documention that we have received from family and friends.

I guess the first one didn't turn out so well, so we had to do it again? I thought it turned out pretty cool looking, but then again, I guess they both did, just in different ways. :)

New Posts

So we now have all the pending posts posted (Wow, try saying that 3 times fast.). Make sure you go back and look at all the pictures and everything that we have posted previously (Like my bridals that I didn't get on here til a couple months after the wedding, yet the posting date is in the middle of our honeymoon), and please comment if you have something to say. We love knowing that this blog actually gets read. We will be posting pictures of the house soon too, most likely in the next week or so.

ePortfolio

So, I have to do an ePortfolio for a school project, and I don't want to do it the way that they say to (I also don't have enough time left to do it before the semester ends), so I'm making a blog post about it. I double-checked with the teacher before doing anything, just to make sure it was ok. She said I could post it onto facebook for all she cared. :) So here's my school project. Hope you enjoy it.

Bed, Bath, WAY Behind?

So as stated in our previous post, Niki and I are back online! Yay! Also, on Thursday our wireless router arrived and was super fast to setup so now we don't have to be sitting on the couch tethered to the modem (or old router) in order to be online. Again there was much rejoicing.

So in the way of an update, I'll try to keep it somewhat short.  We've moved into our house, yeah I know those of you who already knew that know we've been in our house for almost a full month and I just now getting around to posting it. Sorry, sheesh.

Besides having moved in, most of the boxes are unpacked and put away. Our Office/Living room is the only room that has yet to receive any sort of organization, with the exception of the book case that is in there (Thanks Mom and Becca for all your help unpacking and such).  Lets see, last Monday, so the 19th of July we received our Cable Internet and TV.  The Saturday prior to that our Kitchen Table, Chairs and Bar Stools arrived and we put those together (Thanks Dad and Mom for delivering those).  Lastly the Wednesday before that our Fridge was delivered; That's right no more gigantic space with little bitty mini-fridge.

Still a ton of work to do both inside and out though I feel like it's mostly outside.  Well that's pretty much the update on the house.  We love it, being homeowners is exciting and a little scary but I know we'll get use to it and love it even more.

Back On-Line

Hello everyone! Sorry, we went to Mars there for a while but we're back now and we've got t-shirts for everybody!

Just Kidding. But it is great to be back online and blogging again.  I'm sorry I don't have more to say right now but look for a longer update in a few days or so.

And now the work begins...

Sorry there has been nothing new posted on our blog lately. Having just moved, we're busy unpacking (in addition to working full time) and we also haven't gotten Internet service at our house yet (but that's scheduled for next Wednesday I believe). We will post more soon.

We have a house!

It's Official! We have a house! We closed last Tuesday and have been slowly moving wedding gifts up since we got word that it was officially ours. We have almost all the wedding gifts moved (there's just a few left that will be moved today or tomorrow), and we will be moving all the big stuff (beds, dressers, etc) this weekend and we'll start staying there beginning the 4th of July (or maybe the 3rd if Mom and Dad kick us out) ;) We are SO excited and are grateful for the generosity of everyone (for letting us invade the house for 2 months, for being so willing to help us move, for supporting us with this whole process, and everything!) Thank you!

And for those of you wondering, there will be a 'housewarming' party of sorts sometime. We don't know when yet. :)

Crazy life

Apparently I'm really busy and don't update the blog regularly. Michael has already updated his blog twice since we've been married, and the last post on this one is from way back in February. There are a couple posts pending at the moment, but we need to get the pictures to attach to them. Oh well. Keep checking back here. We'll eventually have something new posted. In the meantime, you're welcome to check out his blog and the new things he's posted.
